First thing's first, my last name really is English, but don't worry, I also speak Spanish. I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up in Pittsford, Michigan. I graduated from Hope College with degrees in Secondary Spanish and Biology Education and a minor in Chemistry. I started learning Spanish in high school and continued to study it while at Hope. While in college, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Seville, Spain for a semester, where I lived with a host family and took classes at the local university.
